Hundreds of Bikers Honor Vietnam Veterans

There are currently hundreds of bikers making their way across the country to honor U.S. Veterans. This giant group of bikers are all a part of the non-profit organization known as Run for the Wall. Annually these bikers make a cross country trek beginning in California and ending in Washington D.C in order to honor Vietnam Veterans as well as their families.

Run for the Wall began their adventure this year on May 18 and are expected to arrive in Washington D.C. by May 27. During their journey they stopped in Wentzville MO. Greeted by waving crowds and cheerful families, the group of bikers paid tribute to what is believed to be the first Vietnam memorial.

As is stated on their website, Run For the Wall's philosophy is to, " Strive to maintain a safe, supportive, and private atmosphere in which all participants can reflect and heal on their journey to the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, DC in the hope that they can return home to a new beginning.
