What could more despicable than severely beating a veteran on Memorial Day Weekend? The owners of Wing Depot in Jacksonville Florida did just that while sitting in an American Legion on Sunday.
A witness described the event which began when 66-year old Charles Hughes threw a coaster at the bartender as a silly goodbye and the coaster landed near 55 year-old old Terry Reba Lodge and 60-year-old William Thomas Lodge.
The restaurant owners then jumped up and began to pumel Charles in the back of the head.
The injuries Hughes sustained from the fight caused profuse bleeding and a broken nose.
Witness Jennifer Luty said, "It was like a footprint on the back of his head.”
Charges against the Lodges have been filed the American Legion bikers plan to picket the Wing Depot on Thursday 10:30 am to bring attention to the disrespectful couple and their business. Who treats veterans so poorly on Memorial Day Weekend?!?
