F-16 fighter jets collide mid-air in Georgia

On Tuesday night over Georgia, it was reported that two South Carolina Air National Guard F-16 fighter jets were caught in a head-on collision.

The collision occurred during routine night-flying operations in Jefferson Country.

Both pilots involved were able to eject from their plane saving their lives.

There were also no injuries reported on the ground.

This is the third crash by military jets breaking headlines within the last two weeks, prompting the U.S. Air Force to conduct a thorough safety investigation as soon as possible.
