Veteran Walks 22 Days Straight to Raise Awareness

Terry Sharpe is a former marine veteran that walked for an amazing 22 days from North Carolina all the way to Washington D.C.

Sharpe committed to this 22 day trek in order to raise awareness of the 22 veterans that commit suicide on a daily basis.

As Sharpe walked, he constantly carried the names of veterans who recently committed suicide. Sharpe shares that it is important to honor these veterans and it is also equally important to raise awareness for those who are currently suffering.

Sharpe was quoted saying,

"...Our country needs to protect the ones who were wounded, with wounds you can see and wounds you can't see."

How do I go about doing this 22 day treck? My girlfriend and I fully support the military and PTSD awareness. I have PTSD from childhood trauma. My father was killed while in the military. How can I help?
