If you find yourself at home on Veterans Day looking for something to watch on television, you might want to tune in and watch this Veterans Day TV special. “A Hero’s Welcome" is an hourlong special running on six cable networks.
The show is centered around a wounded serviceman's Hawaiian homecoming. It will run on the Scripps Networks Interactive cable channels which include: the Food Network, Great American Country, the Cooking Channel, HGTV, the DIY Network and the Travel Channel.
From what we have read, the schedule for airings of A Hero's Welcome will look like this..
Food Network at 9 p.m. Eastern time on Nov. 11, Cooking Channel and Great American Country 10 p.m. Eastern, and then showing on HGTV, the DIY Network and the Travel Channel at 11 p.m. Eastern time.

DVR Alert - You may want to set your DVR to record A Hero's Welcome as there is also the Concert for Valor event which also airs on Veterans Day. The concert starts at 7 p.m. on HBO (which will be available for non-subscribers of HBO) and we are not sure how long it will last.
