Looking for Memorial Day deals and discounts for veterans and active duty military this Memorial Day 2015 holiday weekend? Below, we have a list of some of the businesses and destinations offering military and veterans discounts for Memorial Day.

Remember, while these are some of the Memorial Day discounts and deals available for active duty military and veterans, this is in no means a complete list. There are most likely many local places of business and local places of interest providing providing discounted or free admission to active duty military, veterans and even family members this Memorial Day weekend. Places like zoos, parks, aquariums, museums, amusement parks along with Memorial Day concerts and events may be offering providing free or discounted admission.

It always is a good idea to call ahead or check the internet to check on or confirm any deals you see here or if you are curious if a local business is offering Memorial Day deals.

Memorial Day 2015 Deals and Discounts for Military and Veterans

Hooters - Military members and military spouses receive 10 free boneless wings with any drink purchase on Monday.

Red Robin - Active duty military, retired military, veterans and military spouses a free appetizer with any purchase of at least $10 between Saturday, May 23 and Monday, May 25, 2015 at participating Red Robin restaurants nationwide. You must, however, be a Red Robin Royalty member also.

Shoney’s - Active-duty and military veterans with proof of military service can receive a free all-american burger on Memorial Day. You must dine-in and offer valid at participating restaurants only.

Lowe’s - Lowe’s gives its 10% military discount to those serving in the Armed Services, immediate family and all veterans on Memorial Day 2015. To qualify, you must have a valid military ID card, Veteran Identification Card, or other proof of service.

Home Depot - The home improvement store offers all veterans and active duty military a 10 percent discount from Thursday, May 21 – Monday, May 25. Anyone requesting the Memorial Day veterans discount is asked to present a DOD-issued military ID, a veteran’s driver’s license (in applicable states) or a DD214 that states they were honorably discharged.

JC Penny - Current and former military personnel and family members of active duty, reserves, guard and retirees get a 20 percent discount at JC Penney this 2015 Memorial Day weekend. You must bring a copy of the coupon which you can get at

Blue Star Museums - A collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel and their families, including National Guard and Reserves.

California’s Great America Free Admission - Free admission to active or retired U.S. service men and women, including veterans, with a valid military I.D. on Memorial Day Weekend, May 23 -25. Also, up to six family members accompanying service personnel can get tickets for just $19.99. On Saturday Boomerang Bay opens and on Monday there will be color guard presentation and an all-you-can-eat BBQ ($15.99).

King’s Dominion - Free park admission to any active, inactive or retired United States Service men and women with a valid military I.D. May 23 -25. The park is located in Doswell, VA.

Knott’s Berry Farm - Free Admission for Active, Retired or Veteran U.S. Military Personnel May 23-25, 2015. Includes Knott’s Berry Farm and Knott’s Soak City. Show your valid Military I.D. at the ticket booth to get your free admission ticket. Good for one ticket per valid Military I.D. Up to six tickets may be purchased for family and friends at a discounted rate.
