A corn maze honoring 'American Sniper' Chris Kyle was created by owners of a small Georgia farm to pay tribute to all military service members. The corn maze features a likeness of Chris Kyle’s face, along with stars and the words “God Bless America.” Scroll down to see a full-size Chris Kyle corn maze photo.
According to a Fox News story, "Misty and Lamar Duren are the owners and operators of Corn Dawgs, an adventure park that includes a pumpkin patch, a petting zoo and a corn cannon that can blast an ear of corn at least 100 yards. And they also have a giant corn maze."
And this year, the corn maze, which is carved into seven acres of corn, pays tribute to "a true American hero" - Chris Kyle. The maze features three miles of trails.
Visitors who wish to navigate the maze receive a map. And with that map, it will take visitors around an hour to navigate the Chris Kyle corn maze. Those who decide to be adventurous and not use a map can expect to spend a few hours navigating the patriotic maze.
Misty Duren, one of the owners of Corn Dawgs, told the Gwinnett Daily Post, “This year, I felt like with everything that’s going on with our country, I wanted to do something patriotic. As we were going through the process it just kind of hit me that Chris Kyle would be great to honor this year.”
Duren went on to say, “We have the utmost respect for all men and women who have served or are serving, so we thought it would be great to pay homage to (Kyle) and the military.”
If you happen to be in Loganville, Georgia - just a short drive from anywhere in metro Atlanta - make sure to head over to Corn Dawgs Fun Park and thank them for honoring Chris Kyle and all of our other brave military members and veterans.
