Watch: Warhorse Program Helps Veterans Struggling with PTSD

This unique veterans program uses horses to help veterans struggling with PTSD. In Saratoga, New York, combat veterans interact with thoroughbred horses to help deal with their post-traumatic stress disorder and suicidal thoughts.

Most of these veterans have never been in contact with a horse. Now, the trusting bond being built between human and horse is helping to heal the wounds of war.

Participants in the program say it is working as they are finally able to relax, sleep again and reconnect with their families.

Watch the Warhorse veterans program video below to learn more and hear from combat veterans who participated in the program.
