Breaking News: Veteran Attacked, Beaten Outside Disabled Veterans Hall

Police are looking for a suspect in a veteran's assault of outside the Disabled American Veterans Hall in Bristol, Connecticut on Saturday night.

According to reports, police responded to 191 Riverside Avenue after reports of the assault. Upon arriving on the scene, police located the victim meeting hall for disabled veterans.

Police said the 66-year-old victim had a small laceration under his left eye and was bleeding. They said the veteran was attacked and beaten with a BB gun outside of the Disabled Veterans Hall.

The man, who was not identified, was transported the Bristol Hospital Emergency Room where the medical staff found two BBs embedded in the victim’s head. His injuries are said to be not life-threatening.

Further details on the circumstances surrounding this incident are forthcoming. Bristol police have not identified a suspect at this time, and it is unknown if any arrests are pending.
