Cemetery Worker Stole Deceased Veteran's Wallet

Florida National Cemetery employee, Kevin A. Cullen, has been charged with theft, identity fraud, and disturbing a grave after stealing the wallet off of a dead veteran.

The deceased veteran was 93-years-old upon passing and served as a torpedo man in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

The investigation was spurred on by the family's discovery of charges on the deceased veteran's credit card. The family immediately confronted cemetery administrators and deputies.

When deputies questioned Cullen he immediately admitted to taking the veteran's wallet from the urn directly before burial.

Cullen also shared with law enforcement that he used the card to order pizza and video game cards.
