Help Veterans and Their Families!
Healing Heroes Network is a 501(C)(3) Military nonprofit committed to Helping Veterans and their Families through three different programs: Welcome Home Hero, Healing Heroes, Tablets for Heroes. HHN is committed to healing Americas Heroes by providing financial assistance for quality care to military personnel injured in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan since 9/11/01. Through communication, education, and community outreach, HHN strives to bring awareness to the often untreated injuries sustained in war and the desperate need for our services.
Welcome Home, Hero Program
The Welcome Home, Hero Program aids in providing assistance to injured military personnel and their immediate families for basic needs, including but not limited to: food and clothing. Many of our heroes returning with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder have a hard time coping with the transition to civilian life, which can lead to substance abuse, marital problems, unemployment and often homelessness. The Welcome Home, Hero
initiative, offered through Healing Heroes Network, is a vital program that offers financial assistance for emergency situations in times of desperate need and economic hardship. By keeping our veterans in their homes, with the lights on, and keeping their families together, we are letting them know that we have not forgotten about their service and sacrifice.
"Healing Heroes Network provided us with assistance to pay our bills so I did not have to make the choice of sacrificing my own health for the good of my family." Sgt. Jerry M
Healing Heroes Network Program
The Healing Heroes Program provides financial assistance for services and treatments to veterans injured in the line of duty, while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan since 9/11/01. With a nationwide network of professionals willing to provide a wide array of therapies and services, and funding from generous donors, HHN aids these brave wounded warriors in receiving much needed therapies. While the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs is diligent in providing treatments to our injured military, the scope of covered services can be limited, delayed, or unavailable. HHN fills in the gaps for these desperately needed services and aids those who sacrifice for our freedoms.
"The massage sessions already have helped more than I ever thought could happen. I sleep better and am able to function more. I would again like to thank everyone there at Healing Heroes Network for being able to assist me with my journey. Thank you and God Bless." Jeffrey K., retired Army
TABLETS FOR HEROES PROGRAM
The Tablets for Heroes Program provides tablet computers to veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan who have sustained traumatic brain injuries and/or post-traumatic stress disorder while serving. The Tablets for Heroes program developed by Healing Heroes Network provides service members with tablet computers for cognitive re-development, memory assistance and much more, allowing them to be more self-sufficient.
"My tablet was sent to me with specialty apps designed to keep my mind occupied and help me get through any uneasiness I experience. This new tool will help me thrive." Thomas H., retired Army
