A social experiment in association with damn.com and pranksters.com set up a scenario in which they placed a pile of cash on the passenger side of the dashboard of a car and left the window open. They then set up cameras to catch potential thieves red handed once they stole the cash through the window. Throughout the experiment, in several cities, the cameras recorded American thievery over and over. That is until, they came across homeless veteran Paul.
When Paul walked past the car set up with money flashing on the dashboard. He did, what no before him had done. He reached inside the car, grabbed the money and safely stored it away in the car's glove-compartment. A decorated veteran of the Persian Gulf War, now living in a shelter for the homeless, Paul surprised the show's staff with his moral actions. And his act, wanting to protect a stranger, even when he is in desperate need himself. Brought tears to the eyes of all watching.
